Dubrovnik Sightseeing And Visiting The Botanical Garden

Explore the breathtaking beauty of Dubrovnik and its surroundings on a carefully crafted panoramic tour. This journey will take you to five stunning viewpoints, each offering unique perspectives of the city and its spectacular landscape. Along the way, immerse yourself in Dubrovnik’s rich history and natural charm, culminating in a visit to the enchanting Arboretum in Trsteno, one of the oldest in the region. Your adventure begins at the agreed-upon meeting point, and from there, we’ll visit the following spectacular stops: ♦️ DUBROVNIK BRIDGE Explore the iconic Dubrovnik Bridge, a modern engineering marvel completed in 2002. Spanning 518 meters and rising 55 meters above Ombla River Bay, the bridge connects both shores with elegance and functionality. From its vantage point, you’ll enjoy stunning panoramic views of Gruž Port, the Lapad Peninsula, and Babin Kuk. Beyond its practical purpose, the bridge has become a favorite spot for bungee jumping and offers breathtaking vistas of Dubrovnik’s vibrant new district, making it a must-visit landmark. ♦️ OMBLA RIVER BAY Next, we’ll visit a stunning viewpoint overlooking Ombla River, a vital water source for Dubrovnik and part of the Natura 2000 protected landscape. Regarded as the world's shortest river, its crystal-clear waters maintain a constant temperature of 10°C (50°F). The shores are lined with historic summer residences and chapels of Dubrovnik's ancient rulers, offering both natural beauty and a glimpse into the city’s rich heritage. ♦️ SCENIC VIEWPOINT ON THE STATE ROAD Pause at a picturesque viewpoint that offers sweeping views of the Elaphiti Islands, Franjo Tuđman Bridge, Gruž Bay, and the charming neighborhoods of Lapad and Babin Kuk. ♦️ SRĐ MOUNTAIN We’ll ascend the majestic Srđ Mountain, where two unforgettable stops await: 1. Near Bosanka Village, take in one of the most stunning views in the world. The panorama includes Dubrovnik’s Old Town, Lokrum Island, the hills of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Cavtat, and the open sea. From here, enjoy a bird’s-eye view of Dubrovnik’s historic Old Town, surrounded by the Adriatic Sea. The guide will share fascinating historical insights, from Dubrovnik’s maritime republic days to its modern role in Croatia. 2. At the top of Srđ Hill, marvel at a spectacular panoramic view of the entire Dubrovnik, including the Old Town, Adriatic Sea, Lokrum Island, Elaphiti Islands, Fort Imperial, the town of Cavtat, and the mountains of Bosnia and Herzegovina. ♦️ ARBORETUM TRSTENO Dating back to the 15th century, Arboretum Trsteno is one of the oldest arboretums in the world. Just 20 km from Dubrovnik, it features 500-year-old plane trees, Mediterranean flora, a Renaissance garden with a baroque fountain, and stunning Adriatic views. Famous as a Game of Thrones filming location, it’s a perfect mix of history and nature.

The waters around Dubrovnik are just stunning and salty enough to make it easy to swim and have a great time without buoyancy aids! Our skipper, Nikola, was friendly and professional and the boat great - despite the missing step/grip making it little tricky to get back on board! We had a total of five stops, including lunch on Lopud Island. All in we had a lovely day.

We did the boat tour with 6 people and we really enjoyed it. We were even allowed to take our dog with us. Nico, our skipper, was very nice and even picked us up in Trsteno.

Excellent activity that I recommend. The skipper was super nice and an expert on the area. Boat in very good condition and compliant. A must do!
