Ousmane provided an amazing tour out Goree island. He picked me up at my hotel, managed ferry transport, and provided an overview of the history of the island in transit. When we arrived, Ousmane sprang into action explaining the island’s role in the African alive trade. He said very movingly led me on a tour of the Slave House, providing exceptional detail regarding the conditions African captives beared while detained in Goree. Ousmane knows Goree Island very well; he expertly led me through the town and to the most beautiful vistas for photos. This tour was 10/10. I highly recommend you hiring Ousmane in the future.
I very much enjoyed my trip to Goree Island. Ousmane was a great guide -- very informed and passionate about the importance of this historical place. He handled all the details, including a local lunch on the island, and is a prompt communicator. I highly recommend.
