On this full-day tour from Dahab you’ll get a taste of the beauty of Ras Abu Galum, a Bedouin settlement with stunning coral reefs. Enjoy snorkeling at the famous Blue Hole, and experience the Bedouin lifestyle with tea and lunch in one of the huts.
What to Expect
You start the tour from Dahab at 8:00 and head for the famous Blue Hole, a well-known snorkeling site about 11 kilometers north of Dahab. The Blue Hole is about 100 meters deep and is surrounded by a beautiful coral reef. Here you can enjoy snorkeling for 1 hour and then take a camel ride or hike to Ras Abu Galum, a Bedouin village north of Dahab, where you can experience the real Bedouin life.
Upon arrival you’ll be greeted with a welcome drink of Bedouin tea in one of the Bedouin houses, before snorkeling in the beautiful pristine reefs of Abu Galum. In the afternoon you’ll have a Bedouin lunch. Then you’ll ride back to the Blue Hole by camel and drive back to Dahab at around 17:00.
For an extra 60 euros you can stay overnight under the stars, and watch the bioluminescence and the fish in the sea.
