Enjoy breathtaking views of the Sinai Desert on board a thrilling Quad Bike or sand buggy, with options to snorkel at one of Dahab’s best dive and snorkel sites. The half-day tours include tea at a Bedouin village and close-up views of iconic wadis.
What to Expect
Enjoy the adrenaline thrills of speeding across the Sinai Desert on board a 4WD Quad Bike or sand buggy, with the option of visiting one of the best dive sites close to Dahab for a quick snorkel session among the coral gardens.
Following a pick-up from your hotel in Dahab you will transfer to the beautiful Sinai Desert to see towering sand dunes, surrounding mountains, and the iconic desert wadis (dry river valleys).
Go to Wadi Qunai Oasis, south of Dahab, to discover the off-road trails of a small canyon of sandstone and granite. Marvel at the fresh water flowing between the rocks in this otherwise arid landscape. After a refreshing Bedouin tea, you will drive your Quad to the Blue Lagoon to see thrill-seeking kite and wind surfers take advantage of the superb flat water conditions.
Another wadi to explore close to Dahab is Wadi Connection, a wide and expansive landscape surrounded by mountains and just 3 miles (5 kilometers) southwest of Dahab. Combine Wadi Connection with Wadi Towaylat for a short 2-hour Quad Bike adventure that includes a break for tea in an authentic Bedouin tent.
Add on a snorkel sesssion at the legendary Blue Hole dive site, considered one of the most challenging dive sites in the world, for a longer 3-hour Quad Bike adventure. Drive across the desert to the notorious submarine sinkhole for the start of your snorkel. Close to the surface lie stunning coral formations that attract colorful marine life. Alternatively, go to the 3 Pools dive site south of Moray Garden to snorkel among the seagrass and coral gardens of the sand bottomed pools.
