    1. From Munich: Dachau Memorial Site Half-Day Trip

Take a 5-hour tour of the Dachau Concentration Camp Memorial, a place of memory and of education. To visit it can be a challenge, but also a deeply moving and memorable experience. A professional guide, trained and authorized by the Memorial site, will organize all travel arrangements, taking you on the return journey by train and bus from Munich. You will get a comprehensive tour of the entire area, including all the surviving original buildings, the museum exhibition center, and the cinema, which screens an English language documentary film. The guides are trained to convey often difficult and disturbing material to you with sensitivity, with dignity, with respect for the victims, and without recourse to cheap sensationalism.

    2. From Munich: Dachau Memorial Site Day Tour in English

The Dachau concentration camp was the first German concentration camp, opened outside Munich in 1933. Since 1965, the site has been used as a memorial and a place of education. Visit the memorial site on a 5-hour tour from Munich. Your tour guide will explain the significance of the Dachau concentration camp at the time of National Socialism. See the former gas chambers, cells, and barracks.  Visit the exhibition in the Dachau Memorial Museum and see pictures and reports by prisoners describing everyday life in the camp from its beginnings to its liberation by the Allies in 1945.

Very sobering but wonderful tour. Our guide gave us historical info during the subway and bus rides to Dachau, which was very helpful. The bunk houses were closed but we could still see in. The museum is extensive and well laid out. I highly recommend this tour

    3. Dachau Memorial Site Tour

On March 22, 1933, the Nazis opened the first state concentration camp at Dachau. Today, the site serves as a memorial to those who lost their lives, and a place of education and reflection.  You will meet your guide at 09:00 AM in front of the tourist information center on Marienplatz in central Munich. Your guide will take care of your travel tickets for you and ride with you on the local train system to the old ninth century town of Dachau, 10 miles north west of Munich. After a short bus ride which very much follows the route that the prisoners would have taken, you will arrive at the site to begin your tour. Your guide will escort you through the site and will be very keen to furnish you with as much factual information as possible delivered in an objective manner. This tour, on a human level, is very thought provoking and your guide will also encourage questions and discussion. B...

Our tour with Alun was excellent. Not only was he very personable but was also filled with great bits of information and stories that really helped bring this important historical location into perspective. It is a saddening place to visit but this is all the more reason to take it in an understand what happened at Dachau. I highly recommend the tour.

Although a very sad experience given the circumstances, I really felt this was relevant to remind myself of what's important, and to always have the people who suffered in mind so that they're not forgotten. Never forget. Our guide was very kind and extremely well informed.

Easy transportation from Munich city center with an incredibly knowledgable guide. It was simply follow the guide from city center to train to bus and arrival at Dachau then just follow him around and listen. The return trip was equally simple.

Nice Tour. Came at the the Place, where we should meet and starting from there with a train and Bus to the place. Nice Information from the Tourguide.
