What people are saying about Cyclades

Konstantina met me on time and we drove to the Profit Ilias lookout point, just below the summit with its monastery. The sun seemed to take forever to rise and when it did it was pretty hazy. We took some photos there and then towards Pyrgos and Oia. We drove into Pyrgos for coffee and milk pie (I think that's what they were called - very lightly sweetened custard centre with flakey pastry outer) and chatted in one of the squares there before our final stop. This stop was just next to the beach and had some gorgeous shapes carved by the wind into the soft pumice and now used by nesting birds. The light was still surreal, almost blending the sea and the sky into one. I think because we were chatting so much the tour lasted an hour longer than intended but it was a very enjoyable time. Obviously when I got back to the hotel the photos I had created in my head were not matched by what I'd actually taken but any fault was mine.

This is a must try for everyone looking for an amazing time. The owners, Alex and Manos were an absolute joy. I went in this being a first time rider and not knowing what to expect. Both my gf and I had a blast. The horses are so well behaved and friendly. Alex and Manos made sure we are comfortable and were there each step of the trip constantly making sure everyone is accomodated. It was, in all honesty, one of the best experiences ever. The sunset was absolutely stunning and Manos made sure to take plenty of wonderful pictures. Manos, Alex, I can’t thank you enough for this wonderful experience. I hope that one day we will do this again. Your friends, Ioana and Victor

We visited three wineries, and really enjoyed them all. The wine museum at Koytsoyannopoulos was interesting: lots of history there... the displays equally interesting but had some "interesting" quirks; at the tasting, our sommelier was very knowledgeable. But the highlight for us was Venetsanos -- the view was amazing, we got to know our fellow travellers a little more, and the wines were really nice (we appreciated the food served with them as well, at all the wineries).

We had an exceptional time. Our driver Nikos was prompt and a wealth of information about the wineries and the island. The winery visits were good. The first did a great job showing the local methods of viniculture relevant to Santorinr. We felt the second location had the best descriptions and food pairings. The third had a stunning placating and some delectable wines. Felt it was well worth the cost.

Gregory was a terrific tour guide. We really enjoyed everything he showed us (and we saw a lot that day) and he was VERY knowledgeable and informative, handling every question we had with ease. Such a gentleman as well. This tour was the best thing we did on Santorini. Very worthwhile.
