If I could give more stars I would. Well planned and organised, a member of the team met us beforehand to give tickets and explain the course of the day. Collected from our hotel and transport was all on time and well organised. Beautiful views from the train with performances and a fashion show on the train but best at of all was Yuriel our guide. He was so lovely and knew so much about the Incas, Machu Piccu and the history. A super interesting and insightful tour. Yuriel took time to explain things, answer questions and also the photos and videos he took for us were fantastic! Thank you so much!

This trip was fantasti and well organized. Machu Picchu is an unbelievable place. our guide struggled a bit with conveying the history (language limitation ), but what's understood need not be explained. Definitely a MUST do when in Peru.

Full description

Start the adventure by picking up your accommodation within the historic center of the city of Cusco, traveling by tourist bus to the train station in Ollantaytambo (approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes). Boarding the train to Aguas Calientes (approximately 1 hour and 45 minutes), arrival at the train station in Aguas Calientes (also known as Machu Picchu Pueblo). Assistance from the agency to take the bus to the entrance gate of Machu Picchu (approximately 25 minutes), Guided tour of Machu Picchu (approximately 2 hours), after the guided tour, assistance to take the bus back to the town from Aguas Calientes (approximately 25 minutes), free time to have lunch on your own in one of the typical restaurants in the area, at the previously indicated time, you must be at the Aguas Calientes train station to board the train to destination to Ollantaytambo station (approximately 1 hour and 45 minutes), when you arrive at Ollantaytambo station, the bus will be waiting to take you back to your accommodation in Cusco (approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes).

  • * Pickup times depend on the train departure time, it can be at 4:00 am or 6:00 am.
  • *Hotel pickup is available within the Historic Center of Cusco.
  • * Machu Picchu is regulated by the Peruvian government, so visitors can only stay in the citadel during the guided tour.
  • *Please note that according to the rules, you will not be able to re-enter the citadel.
  • * Due to the new provisions in the purchase of tickets to Machu Picchu, the supplier will inform all passengers that if they cancel their reservation, they will not be able to be refunded the percentage corresponding to the entrance ticket, in case the income has been exhausted. of the tour (reserved route), the operator will offer alternative routes at additional cost or a full refund of the tour.

Uriel the tour guide was incredibly patient and knowledgeable about the Machu Picchu and the Inca heritage and history. HE ALSO IS A STUNNING PHOTOGRAPHER and knows where to take all the best photos!!!! Also Lenin the driver is absolutely fantastic, kept everyone safe on the road from and back to the hotel. Thank you team for making Machu Picchu experience an incredible one!!! 10/10
