The hike was amazing and the overall experience was amazing
Abelardo and Rasmel were both very good guides! When they were giving explanations you could really feel they knew what they were talking about and did it with passion. I’m very happy we did the one day trek as it made the whole experience of arriving to Machu Picchu a lot more worth it. Along the way we also saw some other ruins (we were the only group there, only when we were leaving another group as arriving). You could walk at your own speed, one guide was first and the other was last. Because of this me and my partner sometimes had a bit of space between the front and back of the group and it felt like we were there all by ourselves. In general the group as only 12 people so the perfect size! The nature and views along the way were absolutely magnificent. Also the train ride back was amazing!
