The tour was excellent, I would definitely recommend it. We were the first to get picked up around 7:30, then the van went around picking people up from their hotels. There were 15 of us total and we left Cusco a bit after 8. The tour guide, Eddy, was excellent. He explained the history of Cusco its people, and the culture on the ride, and told us about each place we stopped at. We were dropped off and had an hour for lunch. The buffet at T’ika Wasi Restaurant was underwhelming and bland but the restaurant was very pretty. After lunch, most of our group stayed in Ollantaytambo. Our van was made up of people who had purchased different tour packages. Most of them were getting the train at Ollantaytambo to Machu Pichu. A few of us continued on to Chinchero then Cusco. Chinchero was great, some of the most beautiful genuine alpaca, bring cash! A great tour, learned a lot, really enjoyed it. Would highly recommend it.
Our guide Manuel was incredibly well informed and well spoken. Super cool dude. We stopped by a jewelry shop in pisac and learned about the incan jewelry they made. Went to three beautiful archeological sites. Also learned how Quechua people make textiles from alpaca and sheep wool.
