Full description
Start your adventure early at 5:00 AM with hotel pickup. Take a scenic trip of around 3 hours to the village of Mollepata for a delicious breakfast, and recover energy to go to Soraypampa. From this point, start your walk and rely on your guide to take you safely from point to point. If you wish, you can rent horses offered by the inhabitants of the area. During the ascent, take the opportunity to observe the diverse flora and fauna that inhabit the area. Spot some native birds of the area and get great views of the Andean landscape. Enjoy your small lunchbox and replenish your energy. Once you reach your goal, feel delighted with the spectacular views of the Humantay Lagoon and its turquoise waters. Don't miss the chance to take spectacular photographs. Thank the Pachamama and the Apus in a small ritual with coca. After having relaxed, descend to Soraypampa where your transport will be waiting for you to take you to Mollepata. Finally, head back to the city of Cusco.

Our guides were amazing. Merlín and Wilson did an amazing job. Merlín was very patient and helpful during the hike and Wilson made sure we got every place safely. It was an amazing experience. The city Mollepata where we stopped for breakfast and lunch was beautiful. Señorita Julisa is an amazing cook and makes amazing food. She was so sweet and helpful.

Herlin our guide made our trip absolutely amazing. He was so full of knowledge and taught us so much about the lake, nature along with Inca culture and heritage. We opted to take the horses a majority of the way up and hiked back down. We rented the horses onsite for 80 soles. Was definitely one of the most memorable moments of a lifetime and paired with Herlins teachings it was absolutely amazing. Also a private tour is the only way to go if you can. Picked up and dropped off at our hotel with no issues at all. Breakfast and lunch were also very good with an incredible atmosphere.
