You will be picked up from your accommodation in Cusco. Please wait in the hotel lobby 10 minutes before your scheduled pickup time. The driver will be holding a sign with your last name on it. If your hotel is not in the Cusco district, you will need to come to a meeting point near the main square.

TreXperience was superb! The guides, the chefs, the porters and guests from all over the world (ages 18 to 74) were absolutely FANTASTIC. Our guides (Reynaldo & Elias) made sure each guest had what they needed— and helped/ encouraged each of us to make it to Machu Picchu NO MATTER WHAT. They also taught us a ton about the geography, Inca culture/ history and the flora/ fauna of the area. The chefs were brilliant. The food was excellent. Three delicious, healthy, and beautifully prepared meals a day! The porters were amazing— the service they provided carrying staggeringly heavy loads up and down steep steps up to 14,000 ft altitude during the rainy season was mind-blowing. The guests were generous and cooperative and helpful— stopping to offer aid and help to any fellow guest who was struggling. Older guests can do this hike if they are fit, can walk up and down multiple flights of steep stairs - multiple times a day to prepare. TreXperience gets 10 stars in our estimation

Join us for the adventure of a lifetime on the unforgettable Inca Trail to Machu Picchu. Starting from Cusco, this 4-day hike takes you along one of the world’s most historic trails. Explore ancient ruins, enjoy stunning mountain views, and walk through the beautiful cloud forest. This once-in-a-lifetime experience is the perfect mix of nature, history, and adventure! Day 1: Cusco - Km 82 - Ayapata Start your adventure with an early morning pickup from your hotel in Cusco. From there, enjoy a scenic drive to km 82, the starting point of the legendary Inca Trail. Begin your hike, passing fascinating archaeological sites and taking in breathtaking views of the Andean landscape. After approximately six hours of trekking, arrive at the first campsite in Ayapata, nestled at an altitude of 3,300 meters (10,826 feet) above sea level. Rest and recharge as you prepare for the exciting journey ahead. Day 2: Ayapata - Dead Women´s Pass - Chaquicocha In the morning, make your way to the highest point of the Inca Trail, passing two mountains for a total of 10 hours of hiking. Traverse Dead Woman’s Pass is the highest point of the Inca Trail at 4215 meters (13829 feet). Then, cross the Runqurakay Pass, with 4000 meters (13123 feet), to Chaquicocha campsite. Day 3: Campsite - Phuyupatamarca - Wiñaywayna After a good night's rest at Chaquicocha, take on the 6-hour trek, visiting Phuyupatamarca, Intipata, and finally, the archaeological site of Wiñaywayna at 2600 meters (8530 feet). Pass through a number of ecological zones, home to a diversity of flora and fauna. Spot orchids, bromeliads, hummingbirds, foxes, and deer. Day 4: Sun Gate - Machu Picchu Wake up early and hike for 2 hours to Machu Picchu through the Sun Gate, and enjoy a unique view of Machu Picchu. After exploring Machu Picchu, board the Panoramic Vistadome train back to Cusco and be dropped off at your hotel in the evening.

This was such an amazing trip. I cannot express how grateful we are for this experience. Every single person was so hardworking, nice and positive all the time. They took good care of us. Food was delicious, we were all so surprised how they can cook so good in these conditions. The porters have my biggest respect for what they do. I was amazed. Guides were perfect, very patient and helpful. Everything was perfectly planned and always ready for our arrival. We loved every second of it. Thank you so much!
