We had a wonderful time! 1st, Funchal is amazing, so how could we not? However, taking the tuk-tuk up and down the hills was a real lifesaver when you still have to climb steps all over this volcanic island! The views were amazing, we were able to see everything we wanted in our 6-hour tour. Our guide, a lovely young man (21) who loves island life, was quite interesting and shared with us many interesting details about his home. We went to the Church on the hill, saw the toboggans, many vistas, the Christ Redeemer statue that faces Brazil, a wine tasting, and all the beautiful scenery that Madira has to offer. I highly recommend this tour to anyone who wants to see more of the island in a shorter amount of time. Again, it won't save you all the steps, but not having to walk up and down the mountain to get to each place was a real pleasure and made the trip much more enjoyable for someone with arthritis.

Thank you very much for the wonderful tour, during which we were thoroughly entertained for six hours and saw an incredible amount. We traveled along many roads that cannot be reached by car, or only with great effort and a long walk. In addition to all the attractions, we were able to take in the smells of the island, including the wonderful eucalyptus grove.

Martin was super friendly and made our tour really enjoyable. It was all very leisurely and perfect for a holiday pace. His knowledge was fantastic as you would expect and we felt in very safe hands whilst driving around the island. we would absolutely recommend a visit to the Nuns Valley as part of your holiday in Madeira.
