What people are saying about Yungang Grottoes
Overall rating
We had our own guide in Beijing who picked us up and drove us to the station, and our own guide who picked us up in Datong, and a driver who drove us around all day. It was great, informative and exciting!
I recommend the tour. It's self-guided, but that's enough. Even though the road was closed, the driver managed to get us there in time to see the Yungang Grottoes.
Very smooth, the driver was there at the agreed arrival time. We communicated with a translator, no fuss or disruption. I was satisfied to the maximum.
Overall, I liked everything. There is a lot to see. You can watch boys training Kung Fu. The Kung Fu show is impressive. The temple is beautiful.
We had a wonderful day at the grottoes and the temple. Phoebe did the tour very well. :)
