Lanzarote: Full-Day Tour of 3 Tourist Attractions

1. Lanzarote: Full-Day Tour of 3 Tourist Attractions

Experience the three most spectacular attractions of Lanzarote on this tour and enjoy the exciting blend of nature and adventure on the idyllic Canary Island. Start your adventure with a visit to the Timanfaya National Park, then admire the unique shapes of cooled lava that extend into the Atlantic Ocean in the lava tube of Cueva de los Verdes. Finally, end the tour with a stop at Jameos del Agua, a natural cave with a lake. Montañas del Fuego/Timanfaya National Park The Fire Mountains in Timanfaya National Park are a part of a vast area affected by the volcanic eruptions between 1730 and 1736. These long-lasting eruptions, among the most important and spectacular in the history of Earth’s volcanism, radically transformed the nature of the island. Experience amazing experiments with the existing geothermal energy and enjoy the breathtaking tour through the national park. Learn more about the history of this natural wonder and hear about the authentic records of a priest from Yaiza, which documented the volcanic eruptions in the 18th century, convey an impression of how people’s lives were determined by the force of nature. Cueva de los Verdes The visit to the cave “Cueva de los Verdes” is a true journey into the heart of the earth and promises a spectacular and unique experience. The lava tube, formed by the volcano La Corona, is one of the longest and most interesting in the world. The massive lava flows, which at the time flowed towards the sea, cooled rapidly at the surface while the magma below flowed further. When the eruptions ceased, the remains flowed out, leaving tunnels and cavities at different levels, which together reach a height of 40 meters and go far into the sea. Jameos del Agua See the two caves that are part of one of the longest lava tubes on earth. The artist Cesar Manrique creatively and tastefully designed this section of the tunnel to create a harmony between art and nature. Here, you will find a restaurant, a concert hall, and a small lake with a direct connection to the sea. The lake is also home to small white blind crabs, which can be seen with the naked eye and are usually found only in waters more than 2,000 meters below the sea.

Following the Footsteps of César Manrique: Four Art Centers

4. Following the Footsteps of César Manrique: Four Art Centers

César, a multidisciplinary artist, painter, sculptor, conservator of monuments and tourist resorts, designer of landscapes and gardens, and recognized ecologist, created from natural volcanic accidents a tendency that impacted the world. He managed to unite Art, Urbanism and Tourism in a single concept, under a philosophy and model of urban intervention based on sustainability and respect for the natural values of the territory, into what is now a world reference. The Island would be different without the Monument to the Peasant, Los Jameos del Agua, Mirador del Río, Cactus Garden or the Cave of the Greens. It would certainly be less attractive and with much less personality. Not visiting these Centers and works of art, being able to interpret them, is like not even having travelled here. This tour offers you the opportunity to discover the North of Lanzarote having a panoramic of Haría, Riscos de Famara and Volcán de la Corona. You will have the privilege to visit the art centers of Cesar Manrique such as Monument to the Peasant, Cactus Garden, Mirador del Río and Fundación César Manrique. Choose if you wish to visit Jameos del Agua or Cueva de los Verdes, two marvelous art centers which are a must in your visit to Lanzarote.

Everything about this experience was amazing! Guide and the locations were perfect. We chose to not have the buffet lunch because my son has lots of allergies but they didn’t even let us sit inside the restaurant was my only complaint. It was cold and windy outside and they told us to sit outside if we wanted a drink. We had to walk around with 2 very small kids and no side walks. Wish they could have at least let us sit inside. We were still going to pay for drinks. Tour guide was beyond excellent! She made the experience worth it.

This was a magnificent morning out at the caves. So we’ll organised. We booked online which we’ve never done before but the organisation and communication was exceptional. The caves are a must for anyone coming to Lanzarote. For total piece of mind, we’d definitely recommend booking via This company. It’s a total gold star experience from us. My dad and step mum came with us, they’re in their mid 70s and the guide was so kind and considerate. Thank you for the best time.

The tour was enjoyable at the same time informative. Our guide, Andrea have all the knowledge regarding the places we visited, and our driver, Yoshua did an excellent job of keeping us safe navigating even the narrowest road in Lanzarote. The tour itself is worth the money and expectations had been exceeded.

What an amazing day! The caves, wow, you must GO and SEE! It is something that exceeded our expectations. Our guide Andrea was very kind and helpful. Very well organised. Highly recommended

100% recommended, you see many things and everything is super well explained by the guide. If you want to get to know the island well, it is the best thing to do.
