Alex was a great tour guide and driver!! Our tour group was made up of great people which made it even that much better. Alex had a wealth of knowledge about the Island of Crete, its history, people, and culture! He had great stories and kept us entertained. The all of the stops were well planned. We started with a scenic walk where Alex explained the geology of the area and explained about the olive culture and making of olive oil, as well as lemons, oranges, and avocado. From there we went to a cheese and honey manufacturer, a bakery, and had an outstanding lunch. The guest even had some shots of Raki with the bakery owner. I would highly recommend this tour.

This was absolutely lovely concept and tour. The best part that you actually get to experience the REAL Crete and its "hidden" locations instead of sitting in overfilled buses and boats to the beach. Very relaxing tour, people are very attentive, kind and happy to host, the transport is as good as its gets and so was a guide Andreas. It felt like he was our local Kretan friend taking us around his other friends. Side note tho: even if its not officially food trip, its probably better not to have breakfast as you would be snacking quite a bit. Other than that, after this trip i feel like i have more intimate insight of what Crete has to offer and the values of the locals (something we tried to achieve with other tours) which made me appreciate it way more than just another holiday destination with 3 popular beaches. For that we are very grateful! Next time we will go on the wine and olive oil tour

I was kind of worried because I knew I was booking this thru a 3rd party and I’ve had bad experiences with another 3rd party, Viator. However this was a great tour and I think it’s because the people in Crete are so nice. Mr. Dimitris was genuinely warm and excited to show us the villages because he’s a proud local. He had us tasting so much by the time we got to lunch, we could hardly eat the delicious spread. I feel like we learned so much of Crete’s history because he’s a local who learned from his elders. The kids also liked him. In short, there is no way we would have found these places or would have been treated as nicely if we went to these villages on our own. By the way, there was no pressure to buy anything but we did have a chance to buy really good quality local Raki and Olive oil.
