The transport was well arranged, but make sure you also check your spam mail! Unfortunately, the emails often end up here. Transport went smoothly and once there everything was fine. We were assigned a guide, but if you didn't want this you could also visit the palace at your own pace. Then we went to Heraklion where you get two hours. We visited the museum here and had something to eat here. Transport back was also punctual!

Excellent staff: bus driver, the tour pilot and the local guide. But connecting Knossos Palace with Archeological Museum in Heraklion seems tricky: due to short of time you must skip that second for the benefit of old town visit and decent lunch versus Museum tour with empty stomach. My advice: skip the Museum.

The visit with our guide was interesting, but did not leave too much freedom to wander around the palace, while we waited 40 minutes under the sun to see the throne room... This is the only negative point, more related to the organization of the site visit than to our guide
