Black Rose Pirate Boat: 5-Hour Trip from Heraklion

Crew were great and friendly, the trip itself was interesting with plenty of opportunities to swim and snorkel. Very hot on the boat whilst waiting to depart. Kids had simple face decor done and certificates at the end. Children also had an opportunity to drive the boat which was great. Unfortunately as with any trips there were some entitled guests who felt its OK to be rude, try and educate your own kids, take your seat with you belongings on, jump queues for food, etc. Adult food was good, children's pasta was horrible and should be changed. Tomato sauce on the cold spaghetti smelt off. Some very confusing comms with the provider about collection point and time. Not sure it was worth £180

Very family friendly for all ages! My granddaughter had a great time from face painting, dancing, steering the boat The only downside was folks with a disability had no means of getting on or off the boat for swimming in the ocean to do snorkelling. Food was advertised as a bbq which it was not. The food was good but no choice. Crew were fully engaged with all passengers. Would say it’s more for families with children but not for young couples who don’t want to be around children. We were a family/ friend group holidaying together age range from 70yrs to the youngest being 6yrs all had a great time and will do it again
