Great trip with stunning scenery. As everyone says, make sure you wear comfortable shoes with really good grip - the path is full of lose, smooth rocks so it’s very easy to fall or twist and ankle. It’s a full day so make sure you take plenty of water and snacks. There are plenty of bars and restaurants at the end of the walk (at the beach) so make sure you have your main meal there. We didn’t get back to our hotel until 9pm and were exhausted so didn’t have the energy to have an evening meal. Be prepared for a very long day. 5am - 9pm.

Awesome trek. WEAR PROPER SHOES. The guide warns you that it is hard…. And honestly, it really is not. But you have to be dressed appropriately. I think they “over” warn you on purpose because people don’t come attired for the terrain. It is rocky. But don’t be dissuaded if you have any hiking experience. And if you are a big hiker like we are, you’ll fly down this. Like 3-4 hours max. And then you get tons of beach time. But again… sneakers and converse and tennis shoes are not hiking shows, people. Even hikers slip on some of the smoother rocks. They are quite worn down over the years so there are some slick ones. Definitely good to go with a guide though even if you are experienced since the bus, ferry, bus would be too hard to navigate your way home alone. Definitely worth it.

Very nice trip! The bus was small and with Corona you just sat next to each other (with mouth cap). We found the return trip to be very long. Spent 3 hours in the bus, because everyone had to be taken to their hotel. After a day of walking you are really wrecked. The walk itself was beautiful! Very much enjoyed! And you could go your own way :)
