Excellent trip. We did not expect to get to see so much on the bus ride there. We stopped at one site on the way there and one site on the way home and both of them where so beautiful. As for the beach the water was beautiful. It was a bit crowded, as expected. The guide had som really interesting facts and she was really helpful.

Wonderful beach and water! Some of the sand really is pink. Two beach chairs and umbrella truly worth 15€ for the day. Excellent, very informative tour guide and fantastic bus driver. I don't think I would have braved some of the drive in a car. Enjoyed a delicious lunch in a charming village taverna on the way back - best so far. Would definitely do this again!

It takes about an hour and a half to just pick up people, only around 10am you actually start making your way to the beach. You go through the middle of the mountains so you get amazing views and the guide, Stella, is very knowledgeable about the island. About an hour and half later you stop at a little cafe for breakfast and then move on to the beach, about an hour and half more. We got 3h at the beach and it’s beautiful, there’s umbrellas and sunbeds available to rent (€15 for 2). The only issue I had here was the wind, it was crazy windy that actually made it uncomfortable to stay too long in one place. There’s also toilets available to use at €0,50/1€. At 3pm we met up back at the bus and drove back to Chania. About an hour in, we stopped for lunch in a little village in the middle of the mountains, food was very good and cheap. Would definitely recommend!
