Full description

The bus departs around 09:00 from Rethymno for the drive to Crete’s capital city of Chania, the most beautiful town on the island. Settled more than 4,000 years ago, Chania is one of the oldest cities in Europe. On this full-day excursion you’ll have 5 hours to explore Chania, with plenty of free time for a romantic walk through the idyllic old town. Visit historic neighborhoods, churches and museums and take a walk to the beautiful Venetian Port for shopping, a cup Greek coffee and lunch (not included in the tour price). At around 16:00 the bus will depart for the return trip Rethymno.

The bus was on time. We were picked up directly on the main street in front of our hotel (normal, somewhat older coach; but everything was fine). In spite of the other stops to pick up the other passengers, things went very quickly. The tour guide (English, Russian) was very nice. Chania is (of course) a very beautiful city. The trip is therefore definitely recommended.

We were picked up at the hotel on time. During the 1.5 hour bus ride we learned a lot about the history of Crete. There was a lot to see in Chania, the beautiful old town with its small streets, taverns and shops. Was a very nice trip that was worth it. thanks

In the bus we got a map of the city with a recommended route. During the bus trip, the tour guide gave a lot of tips. In the city you are 5 hours, which is enough to see everything. Chania is a very beautiful city that you should definitely see.
