Our full day adventure was incredible, our tour guide Michael was very friendly and extremely knowledgeable - from Cretan history and culture to Greek Mythology and vegetation. The hike through the gorge was exhilarating, not too long but not too short either! Michael was very helpful, guiding everyone up and down the gorge. The food at lunch was amazing - we stopped at a very local taverna (very authentic compared to other touristy one we have stopped at on different tours). However, we must mention the wasps flying around whilst try to eat really wasn’t nice. They had smoke to try keep them away but it didn’t work that well.

Le guide français étant malade nous avons dis oui pour un guide en anglais. Michael etait GÉNIAL ! Il a une énorme connaissance des lieux et des histoires de l'île. Il etait très gentil et drôle . Il a prit le temps de nous faire sentir pleins d'herbes (menthe, basilic etc) et était très attentif à notre bien être. Pour le passage à l'escalade celui-ci nous a bien montré comment faire et nous a également aidé et encouragé dans l'aventure. Il était très patient avec ceux ayant le plus de difficultés ce qui est vraiment top et rassurant. Nous recommandons vivement cette excursion qui s'est avérée être la meilleure de notre semaine de vacances !

Dieser Ausflug war das Highlight unseres Kreta-Urlaubs. Unser Guide war einfach so klasse. Er hat uns so viel Interessantes und Wissenswertes über diese wunderschöne Insel vermittelt und das sehr kurzweilig und voller Humor. Höhepunkt war natürlich die Sarakina Schlucht. Und unbezahlbar der Ausblick. Die gesamte Tour inclusive Rast in der Taverne hat sich gelohnt.
