Very nice walking tour in Heraklion. We did several stops at interesting or beautiful places. The food was delicious and there was plenty of wine and raki. Our guide Papatya was great. Very talkative and full of interesting facts and stories. Definitely recomend if you want to learn a bit of Heraklion.

Amazing tour

We enjoyed this tour so much, who wouldn't with all the food we ate! Our guide was there on time and very knowledgeable! We went to several stops with food and drink at every stop. She explained everything we ate and the way it was prepared. We had such a wonderful experience and the guide was so much fun. We would definitely recommend this tour when in Heraklion!

Fantastic tour! Great knowledgeable guide!

I had a great guide with Papatya. She knew so much of Heraklion and where to get the best local authentic food. If you ever wondered what it would be like if a cool history channel documentary mixed with the food network this was it. I was so full by the end of the tour I probably should have skipped breakfast at my hotel. We visited many local shops. The one across of St Minas Church was one of my favorite! For those interested in what I had: bougatsa (creamy version with cinnamon and sugar), olive oil and honey tasting, plate of olives,Cretan cheeses, tomatoes, wine, yogurt and honey and talk and after this many plates of medze at a local restaurant in the market which I definitely plan to visit again when I am in Heraklion.
