Popularly known as La Santina, this site has a majestic Basilica built from stones from the surrounding mountains. The next stop is Cangas de Onís. Once the capital of the Kingdom of Asturias, this small town is home to a charming bridge with an incredible history. You will know some information about this National Park as well as the wild animals that inhabit it. You will discover how the Lakes were created, you will be able to see Las Vegas where the shepherds make the famous Gamoneu del Puerto cheese during the summer. We will also make a stop at the Mirador de la Reina where, after leaving a pair of binoculars for each person, you will learn about the reintroduction project of the bearded vulture, a vulture that disappeared from these mountains in the 1970s. last century and that, thanks to the NGO Foundation for the Conservation of the Bearded Vulture, we can once again see flying from this viewpoint.
