Honestly, I was super nervous about booking this one after reading some of the reviews, but it ended up being fantastic. The company we booked through really is only the bus trip over to Gibraltar, nothing more. That is "meh", nothing special or more than just public transport vibe. Guide was informative on the way over, very clear on directions on how to cross borders. Once you get to the smaller bus, it was 5 stars for me. The guide was amazing and friendly. We took the rock tour as well and the cave is worth the extra money for sure. Back down off the rock we walked around and found a pub that accommodated all 9 of us and the owner was friendly and food was good. So the bus or trip company, 3 stars, the actual tour once you're on the rock, 5 stars so it equalled out to 4 stars.

This was a pretty miserable day due to hailing weather and traffic accidents. Most of this is not the tour company’s fault, but be sure to go on a sunny day if you can. However, I rate the tour company very low when it comes to the bus situation. I got on at the first stop at Malaga at 6:50am, and thanks to some terrible traffic along Costa del Sol, we arrived in Gibraltar at 12pm. There was no toilet on the bus, with the first stop made for us around 11/11:30. So don’t go with these guys if you have a weak bladder. I thought the extra pick up stops would add maybe 30 minutes to the 2 hr drive, but on the way back, it took 3.5 hrs even with no traffic. There just really shouldn’t be that many pick ups so far away from the highway. If they insist on having so many stops, they should really mini bus some of the later stops to a more centralised final pick up point just off the highway. The only reason I still gave this 4 stars was because the rock tour was great.

Our guide Dominque was the epitome of a great host. He is multilingual and did an excellent job taking care of a big group. Not an easy task to switch between 3 languages and still captivated all the audience. We had previously been on a different tour in Barcelona with a multi-lingual guided tour that was terrible. He was efficient and effective in keeping a big crowd throughout a 11 hour tour! This is a very well priced trip from Malaga!
