  • From Lanzarote: Corralejo Quad or Buggy Safari

    3. From Lanzarote: Corralejo Quad or Buggy Safari

This tour offers a unique way to visit Fuerteventura. The bus will collect you from Lanzarote and take you to Playa Blanca where a fast boat will be waiting for you for the crossing to Corralejo, Fuerteventura. On arrival in Corralejo, there is a short transfer to the start of the quad and buggy tour. The first destination is the dunes of Corralejo, providing a feeling of being in the Sahara desert. During the break, you can walk up the biggest dunes and take wonderful pictures of the natural park with Lanzarote and Lobos islands in the background. The tour continues in the direction of Tamaragua, a small village near Corralejo, a rural and volcanic area. The next destination is the Villaverde region where goats and camels roam the farms and the famous goat cheese of Fuerteventura is produced. The tour eventually arrives at Parque Holandes for a quick snack at the restaurant Don Pepe. ...

We got picked up at our hotel, drove to the harbor where we sailed to Fuerteventura, got picked up on the harbor and drove to the meeting spot, where we signed the papers for the buggy ride, before being escorted down to the buggies themselves. Our guide was very funny and friendly, and it was an amazing experience. Just be prepared for a lot of dust, so remember to bring both sunglasses and a bandana (which we didn’t and ended up regretting it!). The buggy ride is a couple of hours with four stops on the way, to take pictures, go pee or just stretch your legs. On the ride itself you get to see a lot of the island and appreciate the landscape. Our buggy had a tendency to pull to the right, so be prepared for that – they might be a little bit difficult to control.

Driving a quad was a lot of fun without ifs and buts. The tour guide was great. The only drawback, which is not a real one, is that I personally would have driven a little more off the road. The tour is roughly divided into two thirds of the roads and one third off the paved roads. But would book it again and again

dusty affair, headscarf and sunglasses to close your eyes are recommended. It's a good ride, you can see a lot and also get the feeling of getting to know buggies or quad bikes with us, the ride was fun and we would recommend it to others.

Amazing experience. Advice is to buy such closed glasses in the shop.

All was perfect. Activity definitely worth to do :)
