What to Expect
You’ll be picked up at your accommodation between 09:00 and 09:30 for this 8-hour tour. There will be a short briefing from the driver explaining the itinerary, answering any questions, and seeing if there are any special requests for the itinerary.
The tours starts from Corralejo and the first stop is Las Dunas Natural Park, a desert on the seaside, where huge dunes angle towards the crystal-clear ocean waters.
Continue to the inner portion of the island’s north, passing through Vallebron, where you’ll have views of the Sacred Mountain of Tindaya.
Stop for lunch in Cotillo, a quaint fishing town that boasts the island’s best beaches, including Los Lagos or The Lagoons. You’ll have an hour of free time and can decide where to eat and relax, or the guide may also make some recommendations.
After your break you’ll take a walk along El Calderon Hondo to see its perfect volcanic cone. This is a 40-minute trek on an easy footpath, with fantastic views over Lanzarote and the northern shore.
The excursion ends with an off-road experience, crossing the volcanic mountain chain and the northern coast back to Corralejo.
