This was a wonderful trip! The train was fun and more comfortable than a bus the whole time. We really enjoyed Blarney Castle and Blarney Village. We wish we could have actually walked around Cobh and Cork but we know there’s not really enough time for everything. We had great guides, Brendan on the way there and Sean on the way back. Brendan was witty and knowledgeable when guiding us through the stops. We really enjoyed him! We absolutely adored Sean! He was funny and personable. He also gave us a GREAT food recommendation and it was one of our better meals during our stay in Dublin. We would book another tour with the Rail Tours just to hang out with Sean :)

Our trip was wonderful! I would recommend it to anyone looking for a day adventure in Ireland. David is super knowledgeable and cares about every single person he takes on the tour. We were staying in Cork and he made sure to let us know about what to do in Cork once the rest of the tour headed back to Dublin.

A great day. My husband’s first time in Ireland and he was thrilled to get to climb to the top of the castle and kiss the stone. The grounds are beautiful to walk around.

We had a wonderful time with this 2-day excursion. It was a lot of driving, but the weather was cooperative and we saw some amazing sites.

Everything is very good organising and the guide Brian is fantastic guy, very helpful.
