Planning Your Cork Visit

When to go?

The summer is the most popular time to visit Ireland. In the fall and spring it tends to rain often, but you get to see the landscape in a state of flux. The winters can be cold, but prices are often best.

Where to stay?

We recommend staying near Fitzgerald park. The park borders Cork Museum and Riverview Café, and you can enjoy the Cork nightlife as well as a night stroll through grassy Fitzgerald park.

How to get around?

Getting into Cork from other cities in Ireland is done easily and quickly via the motorways. Getting around the city itself can be done on foot, by bus, or by taxi. Public transportation in Cork is generally run by Irish Rail.

What people are saying about Cork

We had a wonderful day with DJ, who is a gem of a human being.

DJ is a special person. Not only did he ensure everyone's safety and pleasure throughout the day, he was very generous with his comments, stories and songs. He has a way of engaging people to participate and share their joy of the moment. Of course, it helped that the scenery along the Ring of Kerry was spectacular and the weather was exceptionnally good. To my wife, daugther and myself, this turned out to be a magical day for us.

Amazing places and a very nice driver who made me laugh so much!

The trip is very well organised and the Cliffs of Moher are something everyone should see in Ireland! The driver was a very nice person and made us laugh fo the whole trip that was not boring at all that way. I just think it would be better staying more there. In my opinion the time we spent at the Cliffs was not enough. Amazing though!!

It was all beautiful even the weather 4 days out of seven was sunny

It was all beautiful. The guide was exceptional, helpful and polite helpful. The places were beautiful especially the western part of the coasts. The time available to visit the places was a bit 'reduced given the amount of things to see but then nothing to object. Good experience

Tour guide was fantastic. The group awesome overall trip great!

Fantastic trip. Was a small group so got to know the fun loving, singing guide! Only problem was the Blaney Stone was at the top of the castle and I don't do heights to well. Yet the people there were helpful and encouraging!

Experience is great, but you should book direct instead

The overall trip is exceptional. Great value and experience. Paddy Wagon is super accommodating even when they aren't the ones at fault. Customer Service is top notch. But do yourself a favor and book directly through them.
