The adventure begins at 1:00 PM with pick up from your Cusco hotel. Discover the Cathedral of Cusco, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, filled with various paintings, carvings, and sculptures, before exploring the Qoricancha Museum, originally an Inca-era temple built to worship the Sun.   An air-conditioned coach will then take the group 2 km from the city center to Sacsayhuaman, a vast complex comprised of 33 archeological sites believed to have been built for military purposes. Next, stop at Qenqo, or “labyrinth”, considered to be a sacred place in which ceremonies were performed in honor of the Sun, the Moon, and the stars.   Traveling 7 km from the city center we find Puca Pucara, a complex of halls, inner plazas, aqueducts, watchtowers, and paths believed to be a military complex and a place for food storage.  After a visit to Tambomachay and its fresh water spring, the tour concludes with a visit to a craft center, where a local guide will tell the story of ancient Incan crafts and how to identify traditional garments made from vicuña wool.  At approximately 7:30 PM, the coach will return to Santa Catalina Street, close to the main square in Cusco.

Your city tour of Cusco begins from the Qoricancha, also known as the Temple of the Sun. The temple was built by orders of the Inca Pachacutec (1438–1572), and following the arrival of the Spaniards, it became the base of the convent of Santo Domingo. You then travel to Sacsayhuaman, one of the most emblematic places of the Inca Empire. It is a structure made of huge carved stones, approximately 9 meters high and weighing at least 100 tons. These stones are arranged in an organized way and in a perfect position to form three platforms measuring 390 meters long. Continuing onward, visit the archaeological park of Q’enqo, a center of cults and ceremonies dedicated to Mother Earth. History states that this was an amphitheater of cults where the Inca dead were placed for ceremonies, being laid on the trapezoid structures found there. Your next stop is Puca Pucara - also known as “Red Fort”. In addition to the fortress, other archaeological structures such as aqueducts, enclosures, and fountains can be seen at this site. Finally, your last place visited will be Tambomachay, just 100 meters from Puca Pucara. It is made from carved rocks, which form a beautiful set of canals and waterfalls which flow from nearby springs.

We will have fond memories of the EXCURSION IN and AROUND CUSCO; everything was perfectly organized! Except for one point: it was booked in ENGLISH! Suddenly more people joined us.. and we had 1/2 of the time with SPANISH, that wasn't so good :-(

The tour was great. We were able to see all the archaeology sites around Cusco in a single day with a very knowledgeable guide. Would definitely recommend to anyone.

Can be done very well to see everything important in Cusco. Starts in the cathedrals and you also see all the important Inca ruins

It's a good tour, you can go to all Cusco Inca ruins and learn interesting information in a few hours
