Your local tour guide will take you on a long walk through the cobbled streets of the city. Discover enchanting squares, beautiful architecture and learn more about the old towns UNESCO world heritage status. Start your tour with a visit to the Esplanade and Liston arcade gallery. Admire the numerous cafés and bars dotted around the area before heading to the old 14th-century fortress to learn more about Corfu’s past. Your tour continues through the city to the Neoclassical Palace of St. Michael and St. George, the Dimarcheion, and the Episcopal Church of San Giacomo. Marvel at the most magnificent buildings in Corfu before moving onto the oldest neighbourhood on the island, Campiello. After a day of exploring, your tour will finish in Corfu-town. Make your way down the bustling streets to find stalls, shops and tavernas selling local delicacies like kumquat and Corfiot olive oil.

Our guide was very charming, knowledgeable and considerate. We had to wait for our fellow walkers who were unable to park their car. Our guide spoke clearly and had so much knowledge of Corfu, but took the time to answer our questions as well. I thoroughly recommend this tour and our guide, who I am very sorry to say I cannot remember her name, but she was brilliant.

Unsere Gruppe bestand lediglich aus unserer vierköpfigen Familie, sodass wir quasi eine private Führung von der netten, jungen Stadtführerin erhielten. Sie berichtete ausführlich über die geschichtlichen Begebenheiten auf der Insel. Es ist erstaunlich, wie viel Geschichte Korfu zu bieten hat. Anschließend führte sie uns zu den wichtigsten Orten der Stadt und beantwortete uns geduldig unsere Fragen. Alles in allem war es ein sehr gelungener Rundgang.

We booked the tour on a Tuesday evening in September. It was only me and my daughter, so actually we got a privat tour. We enjoyed the inside stories of our guide Efi and we have seen the real Corfu behind the sceneries. Really interesting if you want to learn more about the history of the city.
