Corfu: Customized Private Tour

We were on Corfu with the cruise ship for only a few hours. Our tour started at 8:30 am to Paleokastritsa and we were able to visit the monastery before the tourist crowds. The panoramic drive to Lakones and over the mountains with a view of Albania was very beautiful. We then went to Kanoni and Corfu Town, where we ended the tour at our own request to explore the historic old town on our own. It was a very nice trip.

We were personally met by Mr Charitos the owner of Charitos Travels who did a warm handover to our luxury van driver Nondez, that was a really nice touch ! Nondez actually turned out to have a very good command of English - he explained significant details of the places we passed by on our way to the sights which was helpful as reference points. We came from a cruise and had limited time to explore Corfu - thus we opted for a customized private tour so that we could pick the sights that we only wanted to visit and it all worked out... many thanks to our driver making it possible to keep us safe and on track :) We were able to visit Achilleion Palace... drive to Dassia for a sumptuous lunch at Andreas Restaurant... enjoy a swim in the excellent waters of Dassia Beach... we even had some leftover time walking around Corfu Old Town, such great fun !!

Super guide mais franchement un peu cher (510€) pour 4 heures!!! Les 309€ ne comprenaient que la location du véhicule et non le guide (super) qu’il a fallu ajouter pour 210€. Nous avions choisi une visite privée guidée mais pas spécialement en voiture !!! Pas très lisible sur l’application
