Join this 5 to 6 hour Marine Eco Safari aboard the Kurni-Ku, custom built to specifically navigate around the Heritage Listed Ningaloo Reef. It is the perfect way to experience one of the few places in the world with a resident population of Manta Rays all year round! Your tour begins at 8:00 AM at the Coral Bay Ecotours office (unless otherwise informed), followed by a short bus transfer to the jetty to board the vessel. Then you will head out for your first reef snorkel experience in Bills Bay, where you may encounter numerous fish, reef sharks, and other marine species and the beautiful coral gardens. After morning tea you will visit the sea turtle sanctuary where you can observe turtles feeding and surfacing for air. You will then head to Bateman’s Bay, where, with the assistance of a spotter plane, there is the opportunity to snorkel with Manta Rays. On the return home, you will stop for an afternoon snorkel.

This 1-hour coral viewing may be the perfect tour for you to experience all of the wonderful fish and different coral formations without having to get in the water. While on board, a knowledgeable crew will give an informative talk about the many things you’re seeing under the glass. Don't miss this perfect short excursion to make the most of your time in Coral Bay. 

Join this 8 to 9-hour whale shark safari aboard Thunder. This vessel has been designed for comfort and has a large area for seating and standing, both downstairs and upstairs, and a 360-degree view from the wheelhouse. It is the perfect way to experience one of the few places in the world where these big beautiful whale sharks choose to visit.  Your tour will begin at 7:30 AM. Take a short bus transfer to the jetty to board the vessel. Then, head out for your first reef snorkeling experience in the beautiful coral gardens. You will encounter numerous fish, reef sharks, and other marine species. After morning tea, your journey to the outer reef will begin. By this time, the spotter plane is already searching for your whale sharks and informing the crew of any other exciting marine life they have spotted along the way. The crew will do their best to allow you to experience as much wildlife as possible during the tour.  Once the spotter plane has found a whale shark, the boat will make its way to it. You will be split into 2 groups of 10 and take turns to swim with the whale shark. To ensure that the whale sharks are not disturbed at their natural habit, you are allowed a maximum of 1 hour of swimming time with them. The boat stops on the return journey for a second reef snorkel at a different site. To finish the day, you can celebrate with a glass of champagne and enjoy a fruit platter.

Enjoy a 3-hour Turtle Tour on a glass-bottomed boat - the best way to view turtles feeding in their natural surroundings. Learn about the most commonly found sea turtle species on the Ningaloo Reef which is the Green Sea Turtle. The experienced crew will share their in-depth knowledge of this amazing turtle species and their behavior.  Take the opportunity to view the amazing coral, feed the fish, and snorkel at 2 specially selected sites. Snorkeling equipment, hot drinks, and snacks will be provided.

Enjoy this two-hour snorkel & coral viewing which takes place on board the Nhanya-Ku. Visit the pre-arranged meeting point 15-minutes before the tour commences. After a short meet and greet with your friendly and informative guide, you will then be guided to the departure area on the beach. Within a 2 to 3-minute walk from the meeting location, you will reach your custom designed, glass-bottom boat, the Nhanya-Ku. Not only can you see the reef passing by under the glass you will also have the opportunity to snorkel at two beautiful snorkel sites. Immerse yourself amongst hundreds of tropical fish and view magnificent coral gardens, along with other amazing wildlife that calls the World Heritage Ningaloo Reef home. Take a journey on the Exmouth Explorer along the idyllic west coast and experience a totally different side to Australia, a region many are yet to discover.  Start your adventure in the most remote capital city of Perth before heading north into the nature lovers’ paradise, Western Australia.  Begin your journey by visiting the Pinnacles desert, hike down to the banks of the Murchison River and peek through Nature’s Window into an ancient gorge.  For those seeking a unique view over the gorge, there will also be an opportunity to test your abseil skills (own expense). Visit the World Heritage Listed region of Shark Bay which will leave you in awe of the beauty of nature. Here, marvel at a beach made entirely of tiny shells, meet the world’s oldest living fossils, the stromatolites and witness dolphins playing just offshore at Monkey Mia. The region is not only home to around 2000 dolphins but also turtles, dugongs, kangaroos and emus! Be amazed by your visit to the World Heritage Listed Ningaloo Reef, known for its diverse marine life, manta rays and whale shark visitors! Stay overnight in Coral Bay, a town right by the beach which boasts coral so close to shore you can swim out to view it. Alternatively, join a tour in search of whale sharks or manta rays. Whether you choose to join a boat tour or simply relax on the beach, the pristine beaches and turquoise waters here will leave a truly lasting impression.  Follow the road as far north as Exmouth Cape, where rugged mountains flow almost down to the sea. Stand atop Vlamingh Head at the lighthouse for views over the reef and ranges. In spring, you may even spot the migrating humpback whales go by. Complete your tour of the Cape with a visit to the snorkeling haven of Turquoise Bay.  From Exmouth, make your way back down towards Perth and solidify new friendships and reflect on your adventure together. Day 1 - Perth to Kalbarri Kick-off your adventure with a guided tour through the Pinnacles desert, where you can learn about the formations of the rocks. Follow up with a journey up to Indian Ocean Drive for some stunning coastal views. After a quick stop in Geraldton, it’s on to the seaside town of Kalbarri for our overnight accommodation.  Day 2 - Kalbarri National Park to Shark Bay/Denham Visit the marvels of The Murchison Gorge, Nature’s Window and Z-Bend in Kalbarri National Park where water has carved its way through sandstone. Here you have the option to try abseiling (additional cost). Witness bright pops of colour during wildflower season (spring).  Enjoy a great photo opportunity at Nature’s Window before strolling across a beach made entirely of tiny shells.  Then, it's on to Denham for accommodation by the beach.  Day 3 - Shark Bay to Coral Bay This morning, meet the famous Monkey Mia dolphins and get some amazing photos. Enjoy chill-out time on the beach here or enjoy a coffee at the restaurant before you get back on the road mid-morning. Visit the fascinating rock formations, the Stromatolites, before settling into your accommodation in Coral Bay, located right on the famous Ningaloo Reef. Day 4 - Coral Bay Spend most of the day exploring the Ningaloo Reef at your own leisure. Choose to join a boat tour or enjoy free time to experience the beautiful beaches the coral bay has to offer. Go for a stroll on the beach and check out the shark nursery, swim with the manta rays (additional cost) or go for a snorkel on the Ningaloo Reef, only metres from shore. This evening, take the short drive up the peninsula to Exmouth and check into your accommodation for two nights in the town centre.  Day 5 - Exmouth Explorer Today, explore Cape Range National park, a spectacular place of rugged limestone ranges, breathtaking deep canyons and 50km of pristine beaches. Relax on the beach or choose to go snorkeling at the stunning Turquoise Bay (snorkel hire $10), visit Vlamingh Head Lighthouse, relax at Milyering Visitors Center and more before you return to our accommodation late afternoon.  Day 6: Exmouth - Geraldton Visit the town of Carnarvon and one of the local banana or mango plantations (seasonal). Enjoy lunch on the waterfront of Carnarvon, before stopping off for a photo opportunity overlooking the Murchison River. Refreshments stop along the way at Billabong for coffee & ice-creams. Before arriving at our final overnight destination in Geraldton. The group will enjoy their final dinner together at The Murchison Tavern after a long day of driving, discounted meals available at guests' own expense. · Day 7: Geraldton - Perth Enjoy the HMAS Sydney Memorial with stunning views of Geraldton. Take a walk along the 3 bay walk at Green Head before wandering amongst the sand dunes of Lancelin. If you’re feeling adventurous, try out sandboarding for a bit of fun! Return to Perth late afternoon. Kick back and relax on the bus for the last stretch, take in the last views of the scenic countryside before making our way back towards Perth, with drop-off starting around 5:00 PM.

Join us for a half-day sea kayak and snorkel Turtle Tour adventure in the wildlife-rich Bundegi Sanctuary Zone, in amazing Exmouth Gulf, amongst the northern stretches of World Heritage-listed Ningaloo Reef. On our Turtle Tour, look for turtles in the shallows from your kayak; rays, baby reef sharks, and birds including osprey are also commonly seen. Take the opportunity to snorkel from your kayak amongst the sheltered coral gardens and enjoy the colorful fish life. With pickup from your Exmouth accommodation, you are starting 15 minutes before the tour start time on the day. The tour start time varies daily to work around the high tide, giving us the best wildlife viewing opportunities. You will then take the short 15-minute drive to the tour departure point; along the way, your guide will fill you in on some of the interesting local history and points of interest. Once you arrive at the kayak launch area, you will be kitted out with all the equipment you'll need, and your guide will give you a paddle and safety briefing. It's time to paddle along the coast in this wildlife hotspot, looking for turtles, rays, schools of fish, and baby reef sharks from your kayak. Kayaking is a super fun way to explore Ningaloo! Your guide will be with the group at all times, to point out wildlife, answer any questions, and lend a helping hand when needed. Depending on the day, you may head out for a snorkel from your kayak shortly after launching; or you may kayak along the coast spotting wildlife, and then take a short break on the beach to stretch the legs, and enjoy a snack before snorkeling. Either way, once you slide into the water to snorkel amongst the coral formations, you'll be amazed by the incredible marine life at our snorkel site. Towards the end of the tour you will paddle back to the launch site, and after loading the kayaks back on the trailer, begin the return journey to your accommodation. Your guide will farewell you with some memories to last a lifetime, and a promise to have photos of your kayak and snorkel Turtle Tour adventure uploaded as soon as possible.

Your full-day tour begins with a beautiful snorkeling experience on a reef. You might encounter turtles, reef sharks, stingrays and various species of fish. Then make your way out to the open ocean to observe the whales on their migratory route. If your trained guide deems it is safe to do so, guests will be separated into groups of 7, ready to enter the water. With the groups taking turns, guests will enter the water with 2 crew members at a time, positioned near the whale’s path at a safe distance. Each interaction will be on the whales’ terms. Humpback whales can be curious and may approach swimmers, or they may simply pass by. When you have finished swimming with the humpback whales, make your way back to the reef. Enjoy lunch on board and take a final snorkel on the reef. On your way back to the jetty you’ll be provided with a glass of champagne and a fruit platter to finish the day off in style.

Enjoy a leisurely cruise in style on board of a spacious multi-level luxury boat. Sit back, relax, and take in the sights and scenery as you travel the short journey to the whales' playground. The humpback whales migrate through Coral Bay from June to October each year. Visit these incredible and inquisitive mammals in their natural environment to watch them playing, tail-slapping, breaching, waving, slapping their massive pectoral fins, rolling, and even sleeping. Because the local waters are a safe-haven for migrating whales, it is common to see resting mothers and calves as they frolic in the calm waters of Bateman's Bay. Not only can you see the iconic humpback whales, there is also the chance to encounter many other marine animals such as turtles, dolphins, dugong, and other whale species throughout this trip. The tour departs runs for three hours, and your friendly and knowledgeable crew will look after you throughout the tour by offering information about the Ningaloo Reef and its marine life. Do you love snorkelling as much as we do? Or are you a novice snorkeller and would like professional guidance to enjoy the wonders of Ningaloo’s underwater world in a safe and inclusive manner? Our Ningaloo Reef Snorkel Adventure is a full day (7 hour) land-based tour, exploring some of Ningaloo’s best shore-based snorkel sites (a shore-based snorkel site is where you walk off the beach to enter the water, as opposed to entering the water from a boat or kayak). On this tour you will visit Turquoise Bay along with one other site – Oyster Stacks or Lakeside - your guide will choose, based on the conditions on the day. Depending on the time of year, your day begins at either 7am (October 1 to April 30) or 8am (May 1 to September 30). Our expert guides will collect you from your accommodation and tell you all about the incredible Ningaloo Coast during the 45-minute drive to our first snorkel site. Your guides will plan the day based around the weather and tide forecast, to give you the best experience possible of shore-based snorkelling on Ningaloo Reef. Upon arrival at your first snorkel site for the day, your guide will help to kit you out with all the necessary equipment: fitting you with a snorkel, mask and fins, wetsuit or long-sleeve sun shirt, and flotation aids if required. Before entering the water, your guide will give you a thorough briefing on how to use your equipment safely and effectively, information on local conditions, hazards and minimal-impact snorkelling. It’s then time to slip beneath the surface and marvel at the incredible diversity of coral and marine life that Ningaloo Reef supports! Your expert guide will be in the water with you to ensure your safety and point out things of interest. If you have never snorkelled with a guide before, you’ll be surprised at how much more you see with a pair of trained eyes by your side. During the day you will enjoy morning tea and a picnic lunch. Your guides can answer any other questions you may have about this incredible world heritage-listed area. In the afternoon you’ll make the return journey to Exmouth town. Your guide will farewell you at your accommodation with a commitment to have the photos of your snorkel adventure uploaded for you to enjoy as soon as possible. No snorkelling experience is necessary; our friendly guides will be with you every step of the way. However you will need at least an average level of fitness and basic level of swimming ability to enjoy this tour.
