Full description

Skip the ticket-purchasing line and enjoy faster access into Copenhagen's Tivoli Gardens with your pre-booked ticket. Choose from weekday, weekend, and early bird ticket options.   Founded in 1843 by the multi-talented and well-traveled Georg Carstensen, Tivoli is the second-oldest amusement park in the world. Enjoy the lovely flowers and gardens, restaurants and cafés, and maybe take a ride on one of the park’s roller coasters. Whether you’re visiting Copenhagen on your own, as a couple, or with your family, Tivoli Gardens has so much to offer. You could easily spend the entire day simply walking around and taking in the sights. Have a cup of coffee in the sun or enjoy the Tivoli Youth Guard playing their instruments. Located in the heart of Copenhagen, this is truly an oasis in the city and one that you don’t want to miss.

Excellent for us. We went on a Saturday and there’s a concert (Michael Learns to Rock). Great singer. It’s even better that it’s free that night, I would have paid to see him. Other attractions (or “gardens”) are just so-so if you don’t go for the rides (we have grown out of it).

Incredibly cozy and nice place to spend time with your family. We were very pleased with the experience, everything from carousels to servings. The only thing I can point out is that information about different things and how they work was missing, so you had to try it yourself, and the map was under all criticism. Other than that, we were very pleased.

The visit to the gardens is worth it, but I think the use of the park as an amusement park falls short compared to the organization and operation of the parks that we know in Spain. There is no fast pass, and you have to queue to get into all the attractions. Luckily they are not extremely long but 20 minutes or half an hour of waiting is usual. We paid for the pass without waiting for the entrance but it was not necessary to wait although other tourists told us that the day before they had had to wait in line. It is difficult to find support staff and help as there were hardly any and two of the best attractions were closed. You can spend food and drinks, we recommend it since the lines to eat are eternal and it is not cheap. There are no public fountains. The carousel area is a bit overwhelming since they are very narrow streets and everything is a bit crowded. The water area as a garden is beautiful.
