We will start our day with a collection at your hotel in Cape Town, at approximately 09H50am. Collection will be in a sedan , SUV vehicle or a mini bus depending on the size of the group. We will head to our first stop on the tour, the Groot Constantia Vineyard. Groot Constantia is South Africa's oldest winery, it was established in 1685. Go behind the scenes and visit the cellar to get an in-depth look at how wine is made. Take part in a chocolate and wine tasting. Sample five selected wines, each one perfectly paired with a handcrafted chocolate. And before you leave for your next stop, visit the historical Cape Dutch homestead, and get a glimpse of what life on this wine farm was like in the 17th century. Travel from Groot Constantia to the Steenberg Farm, home to some of South Africa's finest award-winning wines. Enjoy your second wine tasting of the day and get to sample six of the estate's very best wines from their flagship range. The third and final stop on your winery adventure is a boutique wine estate located on the slopes below Constantia Nek with magnificent views of the surrounding wine region and False Bay. Start at the country’s oldest wine farm, Groot Constantia Estate. You will be introduced to a full array of the valley’s award-winning wines, at the “birthplace of South African wine”. A beautifully restored historic manor house that is now a museum which pays testament to the heritage of this region. Cycle from estate to estate, and discover first-hand, the various grapes that are cultivated against the steep lower slopes of Table Mountain and the surprising variety it allows. meander through the up-market Constantia suburb, a hub of excellent examples of Cape Dutch architecture. Explore the Vineyards of Buitenverwachting, Groot Constantia, Constantia Uitsig, Steenberg, and cellars.

It is recommended you start at 8:00 AM, as you will want to get the most out of your day. The guided tour begins with a stop to Bo-kaap (colourful houses) before heading to Maidens Cove. With views of the notorious Twelve Apostles Mountain range and pristine Camps Bay penthouses, you might be tempted to relocate to Cape Town. If that isn’t enough to enthrall you, wait until you see Chapmans Peak Drive, this has to be one of the best, if not, the best mountain drive in the world. From the lookouts, you’ll be able to view the unspoiled beach of Noordhoek, the Hout Bay Harbor, and the Seal colony. Continue your tour to the Cape of Good Hope, a National Park which is the most South Western point of the African continent. Not too far from the Cape of Good Hope, you’ll see the warm and cold ocean currents meet at Cape Point Lighthouse. After visiting one of Africa’s well known national sights, head to Boulders Beach to see the African penguins. Here, you have the option of having a bite to eat at the Seaforth Restaurant or driving to Kalk Bay’s Harbor House. Please note; this is at your own account, and is optional. Thereafter, take a drive along Boys drive. This beautiful highlevel drive offers beach and mountain views with beautiful wild flowers growing alongside the road. The scenic drive leads you to Groot Constantia Wine Estate and Constantia Glen Wine Farm. Groot Constantia ( Oldest wine farm in South Africa), in Constantia wine valley, just outside the city of Cape Town, dates back to 1685. This is a perfect place for some wine tasting. The wine estate is known for its beautiful avenue of stone pines, and the beautiful surrounding mountain range. Constantia Glen Wine Farm also advises you on which wines are appropriate with food pairing. The estate offers decadent wine and cheese plater and cold meat pairing which is different from the usual wine and cheese combinations. If you consider yourself as a wine connoisseur, visiting these wine farms can be educational, indeed. Once your visit to these wine farms are finished, you will return back to your pick-up location. The tour concludes at around 6:00 PM.

After pick up, your 8-hour private tour starts with a visit to Table Mountain, Africa’s gem, where you’ll be taken to the top via a cableway. A special stop is made at Beau Constantia wine estate at the Chef's warehouse or Laparada restaurant where guests have the option to enjoy a delicious lunch at their own expense. Thereafter, you will stop at Maidens Cove to view Camps Bay beach, the Twelve Apostel mountain range and the opulent penthouses of Camps Bay. After Maidens cove, you will continue along the coast via Queen Victoria rd pass the famous twelves apostles hotel to join the Constantia Wine route over the Nek. Not too far from the old fishing village of Hout Bay, you will make your first wine tasting stop at Constantia Glen Vineyards. What is interesting about this estate is its panoramic view and its ultra-premium, cool climate wines produced here. This is where you can begin your wine tasting expedition! The next stop after lunch is the Groot Constantia wine estate, an estate which dates back to 1685. It is the oldest Wine farm in South Africa. People who visit this estate always rave about their Cape Ruby, however there are other vintage Groot Constantia wines that will leave your palette dancing! Here you can enjoy a chocolate and wine pairing. After Groot Constantia, your tour ends at Steenberg Estate for their flagship wine tasting befor the drop-off back to your hotel.
