Choose between a shared or private experience, which will begin at the former main site of the bloody and popular public executions, which were both adored and appreciated by Parisians. As you stand under the famous Arc de Carrousel, learn the historic significance of the nearby Tuileries Gardens, its former palaces and the royals who once lived in them. Stroll along the gardens and view what is known as the Historic Axis of Paris, and you'll see the Luxor Obelisk at the Place Concorde. It's a beautiful Parisian square now, but it was once called Place de Revolution, the scene of beheadings for Marie Antoinette and thousands of other aristocrats. Look farther and you can even glimpse the most famous arch of them all: the Arc de Triomphe. We really enjoyed the river cruise. The dinner afterwards was excellent. The servers did everything they could do to accommodate us.,I would highly recommend this tour to anyone.
