Concha y Toro is Latin America's leading wine producer, with exports to 170 countries. The vineyard was founded in 1883 by Chilean politician and businessman Melchor de Concha y Toro. The winery is the producer of the famous Casillero del Diablo and offers iconic wines such as Don Melchor and Marques de Casa Concha. Following a pickup from your hotel in Santiago, embark on a 1.5-hour drive to the Vineyard. Once you've arrived, you will meet your guide who will give you a tour in your selected language. Your guide will walk through the beautiful gardens of the 19th-century summer residence of the Concha y Toro family. Enjoy around 30 minutes of free time to visit the wine shop and see the variety of local products offered by Concha y Toro. Explore the Grape Variety Garden, where you will find around 26 varieties of grapevines and have a stunning panoramic view of the Maipo Valley. Visit the wine cellars, including the centenarian Casillero del Diablo, the birthplace of the wine legend, and learn how the legend formed the worldwide famous brand. Taste a selection of three wines throughout this 1-hour tour and receive a gift wine glass before being transfered back at your hotel.

The Maipo Valley is the closest Chilean wine region to Santiago. It is a historic wine-producing region and the birthplace of the Chilean wine industry with vines growing there for the past 150 years. We first visit the internationally-renowned Concha y Toro Vineyard, which dates back to 1883. The founder was Don Melchor Concha y Toro who brought the first vines from the Bordeaux region in France that were planted in Chile and grew prosperously in the Maipo River basin. Walk around the gardens of the summer residence of the Concha y Toro family, discover the variety garden, visit their cellars and taste a selection of three of their fine wines. Then, we visit Santa Rita Vineyard, which dates back to the 1880s and plays an important role in Chilean history as the site of one of the battles during the War for Independence. Admire the old hacienda-style Estate house and enjoy your wine while you stroll through the old cellars. You will see the grape variety garden, vineyards, winemaking and cellaring facilities, and bottling process, visiting “Bodega 1” – the winery’s first cellar and the “Cellar of the 120 Patriots”. You will discover the exciting story that gives 120 its name. The tour ends with a tasting of Reserva and Gran Reserva wines. After the tour, you can visit the neighboring “Museo Andino” (Andean Museum), which contains a special collection of pre-Columbian pottery, textiles and other artifacts.

After a two-hour drive from Chile’s capital, arrive at a ranch in a small town on the banks of the Maipo River. Once there, get ready for a spectacular horseback riding adventure guided by “arrieros” (local cowboys). Enjoy the stunning views and admire the abundant flora and fauna from horseback. Scale narrow mountain trails and have a short break on a plateau while enjoying the gorgeous surroundings. Try to spot Chilean condors flying high in the sky. After horseback riding, have some free time for lunch. Then, visit internationally-renowned Concha y Toro Wine Vineyard in the picturesque town of Pirque. Walk around the gardens of the residence, discover the variety garden, visit their cellars, and taste a selection of three of their fine wines.

This experience will take you to the Pirque rural zone with its picturesque surroundings, located just 1 hour away from Santiago, where one of the most important vineyards in the world is located, Viña Concha y Toro. In this famous vineyard, known for its exquisite wines, you will have the opportunity to enjoy the beautiful gardens and landscape that date back to the end of the 19th century, part of the old summer Estate belonging to the family. You will visit the varieties garden where you will find 24 different strains of wine grapes, learn about the growth of the vines and have the opportunity to visit the old cellars including the “Casillero del Diablo” known for its history and famed legend. Lastly, you will enjoy a tasting of 7 wines. Three traditional wines during the tour and four premium Marqués Casa Concha led by a sommelier paired with a fine selection of cheeses. You will receive your glass as a gift.

Visit the Parque de la Viña, created by the French landscape architect George Henry Dubois, who also designed the Parque Forestal de Santiago. When visiting the vineyards, learn about the soils and identify the different grapes that Undurraga cultivates in the various gardens. • Concha y Toro — Take the chance to walk through the beautiful gardens and the park of what used to be the summer residence of the Concha y Toro family towards the end of the 19th century. Find out where Concha y Toro wines come from in the Grape Variety Garden, where you'll discover around 26 varieties of wine grapes and a panoramic view of Maipo Valley. The cellar is made of Cal y Canto — a mixture of lime, sand, and egg white — and is one of the most beautiful examples of this style in Chile. Explore the winemaking process and learn about the huge contrast in equipment used in old wineries such as these, and the newer equipment most modern wineries now use.
