1- Visit to a rubber field
We'll start with a visit to a rubber plantation and learn all about the natural rubber production process, from planting to tapping. You will discover the different stages in the growth of the rubber tree, tapping and sap collection techniques, and the transformation of sap into raw rubber. You'll also have the opportunity to put your knowledge into practice by taking part in practical work.
2- Hiking in the countryside
After a visit to the rubber plantation, we'll set off for a hike in the surrounding countryside. You'll be able to enjoy the natural surroundings and discover the local flora and fauna. We'll also tell you about the importance of nature in Ivorian culture.
3- Visit to oil palm and cocoa fields
We'll continue our day by visiting oil palm and cocoa fields. We'll explain the production process of these emblematic Ivory Coast crops, from planting to harvesting. You'll also have the chance to take part in practical work and put your new knowledge into practice.
4- Country-style lunch and chat
After these exciting visits, we'll share a delicious and convivial country-style lunch. You'll have the opportunity to chat with local farmers and learn about their daily lives. We can also answer any questions you may have about farming in Côte d'Ivoire and Ivorian culture in general.
