Alessandro was our guide and he was excellent! We all learned a lot; he provided very interesting historical context to all we were seeing. We were a family group of 8 people. The tour went at a good pace. We toured the Colosseum and Palatine Hill. This was a real highlight of our time in Rome! Thank you Alessandro! We had one older person in our group who was using a wheelchair due to some difficulty in walking longer distances. Using a wheelchair was relatively easy in the Colosseum. Palatine Hill was more of a challenge due to some areas with large gaps between cobblestones where the wheels would get stuck. We had to carry the wheelchair across one or two spots. There was one area where the person had to get out of the wheelchair and make her way slowly up about 20 or so stairs, while someone else carried the chair, in order to get up to the viewpoint at the top. But it was doable! And the view was well worth the effort.

We loved visiting the Colosseum and the Palatine Hill in the company of our guide, she told us the history of the Colosseum, from the beginnings of Rome. We recommend that you take this guided tour, which is very interesting and of which we did not see the time pass because it was so fascinating and very well explained.

Our tour guide was very accommodating even after the tour he guided us and gave us useful tips to go around rome
