Full description

Marvel at the remains of some of the greatest monuments of the Roman Republic with an entry ticket to the Colosseum, Roman Forum, and Palatine Hill.

Skip the long ticket line at the Colosseum and go straight to the fast track entrance for security checks. After entering the Colosseum at your allotted time, relive the stories of emperors and gladiators.

Begun under the emperor Vespasian in 72 AD, and completed by his son Titus in 80 AD, the Colosseum was the largest amphitheater ever built.

Imagine the ferocious fights between man and beast, as you stand in the elliptical arena, comprised of 4 levels, and once able to seat up to 73,000 spectators. Your ticket also includes one entry to the Palatine Hill and Roman Forum, must-see sights for all those visiting the “Eternal City.” According to ancient tradition, this is the spot where Rome was born.

Look down at the ruins of temples in the Imperial Forum, the center of all political, social, and economic life in the city during the Roman Republic. Experience the most ancient parts of Rome from the most significant of its “Seven Hills.”

If possible, buy your tickets for an early time (8 to 9 AM is best.) Believe it or not crowds are big at that time, but they don't compare in size as late times, when student groups, tourist groups, and individuals start to arrive. You get to take lots of pictures with little or no people. Bring a bottle water, you can refill it while visiting the Roman Forum. Bring a snack, there is a lot of walking. Take slow if you have knee problems.

We found it easier and better to have a self guided tour during this trip. We had our time and photo taking to ourselves which was excellent as the place is extremely beautiful. If your preference is of course with information, the group tour isn’t too bad. However our experience with this one in the past is rushing to go around as you go with a group and there are plenty of places to see. The queue to the entrance was quick with our tickets ready. The entrance to the colosseum is different with the roman forum but one ticket will suffice. I. Suggest to bring comfortable shoes as both areas were massive to walk into and had plenty of stairs and going up hill. But everything is worth it especially coming in a sunny weather like we did!

Really enjoyed our trip to colosseum, Forum and Paladine Hill. All these are amazing places to visit in Rome, with so much to see and learn about the past. We paid 22 euro in total which was excellent value for money. We had no problems with our tickets & app was super easy to use. Will be using this app for future trips.
