This is a great introduction to Colonia del Sacramento. Be aware that if you miss the English walking tour, our ferry arrived a few minutes late, all is not lost. Just go to the first stop by taking a left once the street when you exit out of the port.here’s how it works ( we didn’t think the written instructions were clear): a guide will take you in a walking tour staring on the hour from stop one if the tour is only in Spanish like ours was, use Google Translate and you will get the information it worked fine for us and was enjoyable the walking tour takes you through the old part of the city, and there they leave you and give you good directions to walk a couple of blocks back to stop one. It stop one, on the hour, you will board the bus and go on the hop on hop off. What we did, and highly recommend, is we stayed on the bus for the full round of 10 stops, which takes about one hour. We got off at stop 1 for lunch, took another bus to go back to the beach

There were only two of us, but the tour still went ahead as planned. A cheap option for a city tour.
