This is a great trip to a charming old town. Our guide Marcela was amazing-handled all of us in 3 languages! Great places to eat, wander, some nice things for souvenirs - like tiles! I love them and was so excited that there was a tile museum there with French, Portuguese, Spanish and Uruguayan porcelain tiles. Unfortunately, it was closed the day I was there. Next trip!
The trip to Uruguay is a rewarding day trip out of Buenos Aires Colonis has some interesting sights and museums to explore Boat trip is slightly more than an hour Its suggested to take the evening cruise to return as the sunset is beyond beautiful
We had an exceptional tour. Miguel was fluent in English, very knowledgeable and a pleasure to be with. We learned a lot about the history of Colonia. The old town was charming to walk around and had a unique character. This was a great tour.
The time on your own was a bit too long. Would have liked to have the option of returning on the 6:30 pm ferry instead.
Excellent service. My mother and aunts enjoyed the ride.
