Cologne Zoo is located in the heart of Cologne at Rieler Str. 173, 50735 Cologne. From Cologne main station you can reach the zoo via the underground train line 18 and from Ebertplatz via bus line 140.

Know before you go
- Opening Hours:
- Summer: 1 March to 31 October from 9 am - 6 pm; last entry: 5:30 pm (animal houses close at 5:30 pm)
- Winter: 1 November to 28 February from 9.00- 17:00 pm; last entry: 4:30 pm (animal houses close at 4:30 pm)
- Disabled visitors pay the standard entry prices. If the disabled badge is marked B, their accompanying person does not pay an entry fee (the accompanying person must be a minimum age of 13)
- Wheelchairs can be borrowed free of charge. Please reserve in advance, info@koelnerzoo.de
- Children 12 and under must be accompanied by an adult to enter the Cologne Zoo and Aquarium
- Dogs are not permitted in the zoo for safety and health reasons
- Handcarts can be hired on-site for a fee, no reservation is required
