Excellent experience for my 1hr trip down the Rhine. The booth and departure boat was just underneath The Hohenzollern Bridge and a kind Gentleman in the KD kiosk told me to wait in the queue, 10 mins before departure. The boat took off on time and took all us down towards the old city of Cologne and it was so smooth as well. Quite a lot of boat traffic on the Rhine as well.. There is a menu guide on board where hot/cold food and drinks can be ordered as you sit on your restaurant style table, I had a lovely cup of tea and it was so relaxing. I recommend this journey or even a longer trip..

Nice boat, super large terrasse on top with lots of tables and chairs and room to walk around to take pictures without disturbing anyone. Not at all the can of sardines you sometimes get on short boat tours. You get fast, friendly, efficient service right from your seat. I tell you, the serving staff really hustle; that way you don't miss a minute lining up at the bar. You can even buy a bunch of decent snacks, sausage, fries desserts etc. The tour comments come out on top as well, clearly, professionnally, in German and English. Just enough comments to make it relevant, leaving some quiet time in between. They don't beg for tips at the end like on some tours. Nice little river cruise. They have a good formula.

This experience was on time, comfortable and interesting but signposting and navigating to the boarding place wasn't clear. I was under the impression that there would be an audio commentary in English which required headphones. The commentary was through speakers and only on the top deck. My wife is sensitive to the sun so we were not able to access this. We ordered soft drinks and fries. The waitress was polite and helpful but they didn't have English tea available which would have been preferable. This was a good experience but could have been more enjoyable.
