Excellent trip - Didier was a very welcoming and friendly guide. He was very witty and passionate about the tour which made it enjoyable. Ensured everybody was comfortable and happy all the way throughout the tour, and communication regarding pick up and during the day was perfect. Visited 4 lovely villages with history in each, photo opportunities and free time. Nice sized group for interacting. Very comfortable mini van and good amount of time in each place. Wine tasting at the end was great. Only thing I would feedback on is that tour states 10 hours when we arrived back around 4pm so more like around 7 hours - this was good amount of time but when booking, the information on the advert does not reflect this. I would recommend this to anybody wishing to do something special and enjoyable without stress of self transporting.

Full description

Start your day when you are picked up at your hotel or apartment in Colmar before beginning your tour through the Alsace in a comfortable air-conditioned minivan.  Departing from the historical center of Colmar, you will pass through the wine route along the beautiful vineyards and little villages, from there you can explore the typical Alsatian architecture which is magical, colorful, and unique. You will make a stop at the four wonders of the Alsace as they are called. The first one is Eguisheim, one of the most beautiful villages in France. Then drive further along the Alsatian wine route, immerse yourself in the world of vineyards and products which make the Ribeauvillé and Riquewihr region’s reputation.  To test the region’s wine reputation, you will visit a typical wine cave and you can taste a big variety of wines such as Gewurztraminer, Riesling, Pinot noir, and many more.  Your tour will end with Kaysersberg, where its high fortress dominates the city and serves as a reminder of both its strategic importance and its warlike past. After visiting these 4 wonders, our driver will bring you safely back to Colmar.

Laura was a wonderful tour guide. She was passionate about telling stores about the towns we went through. Our favorite city was Kayserberg. We will definitely go back. The van was very comfortable. The wine tasting in the cellar was fun and informative. A great trip. We would do it again with family and friends.
