Sunglasses and binoculars essential. Glare from the pure white dunes in the afternoon is intense, and as the tour is not permitted to approach seals and birds, observing them from a distance is better with binoculars. Found fossils at Fossil point. Guide very knowledgeable and all in all a memorable trip.

A very nice tour to see the Farewell Spit was great and super interesting. Why "only" 4 and not 5 stars: personally there were a few too many people, we were brought to the spots with 3 buses with approx. 30-35 people each. It was well done, the buses ran at a distance. In addition, I would have hoped to get off a few more stops and possibly wish for more time there and less time on the bus.
