What people are saying about Clingmans Dome

Overall rating

I had one full day to cover this wonderful park again. I was there years ago WITHOUT this guide, and this time knowing what I was seeing with the Guide enhanced the experience. The road to Clingman's Dome was closed for some reason, but there is no way the Guide "knew" that. I particularly liked the way the Guide pointed out some of the quiet walks which were appropriate for people like me with limited mobility.

The audio guide is very detailed, with fun facts, stories, matching music and completely narrated by a person with a pleasant voice and nice accent. The app works very well, everything is very clear in terms of operation, really 'fool-proof'. Real value for money, and you can use the audio guide for life!

The GPS triggered the audio perfectly although there were a couple times we had to pull off because we were getting ahead of the audio. I think it’s for 35 miles an hour and there were a few places where the speed limit was 45.

Love the gps component and it’s well timed with just the right amount of information!

Ideally from your own car and the gentleman told us very nicely!
