Our entire day was perfect! We had beautiful weather and a great tour guide and driver. The boat trip was amazing and although a bit rough, we felt safe and in good hands. The island excursion was also amazing and we loved every moment of it. Paul & Pat were really wonderful with keeping us informed and entertained and ensuring we arrived safely at our destinations. We would 100% recommend this tour adventure!

This is one of the best tours we’ve ever done! Phil knows his stuff and loves his job and it shows. He will make sure you get the best of the best and stop at off the beaten path places to enhance your experience. We went during the heatwave so the bus did get quite warm in the back, but it was record breaking temps, so no way to help that! I would hands down recommend this to anyone wanting to experience the area and learn the history and culture. Wish I had Phil for all the other areas of Ireland we travelled to as well!

Full description

Taste the best of the west of Ireland in just a few hours on this groundbreaking small group full day tour. Start the tour by leaving Galway City behind and sampling south Connemara. Then, explore the smallest of the three Aran Islands, Inis Oirr, with your guide. Do a walking tour of the island, hire a bike (price not included) or take a pony and trap ride (not included in price) along the quiet roads of Inis Oirr. After this, take a cruise under the Cliffs of Moher. Coming back onto the mainland, take arguably the finest coastal drive in Ireland as you make your way back to Galway through the infamous Burren region. Enjoy a looped route to ensure that you experience a completely different region of the west of Ireland in every hour that passes. Be assured that you won't see the same thing twice.

Phil was a fabulous guide and Seamus a great driver. Nice to be on a smaller tour of 20 in a luxury mini-coach instead of a large full coach of 50. The tour exceeded our expectations and was packed so many great pieces. Driving through Connemara with beach stops and thatched cottage stops with great info was perfect. Tips on what to do on the Island for dining, shopping and touring was great. Loved the pony tour and got a great Aran Island sweater made on the middle island - one of the last places where sweaters are still manufactured in Ireland and not China. The ferry ride to the Cliffs were great and Phil gave us the tip of the best side for viewing so we had the prime spot on a full ferry! The bus ride through the Burren with stops for vista and at a chocolate factory. Yum! Phil also gave us a great dinner tip when we returned to Galway. All in all, so worthwhile!
