A visit to Clearwater Marine Aquarium is a must-do for the whole family. This is not your typical aquarium. Our non-profit marine life rescue center is home to Winter and Hope the rescued dolphins, stars and inspirations of the hit movies Dolphin Tale and Dolphin Tale 2, both filmed on location. Guests can visit the dolphin movie stars and other rescued animals including sea turtles, otters, pelicans, sharks and more. Visitors have the opportunity to spot wild dolphins and other marine life on one of CMA’s boat excursions. Walking through CMA’s animal hospital guests can see the rescue and rehab work in action, where a rescued sea turtle or baby otter may be getting a checkup.
