From Orlando: Day Trip to Clearwater with Deep Sea Fishing

1. From Orlando: Day Trip to Clearwater with Deep Sea Fishing

Every one loves a theme park, but sometimes it is the thrill of the ocean that calls. On this full day excursion you will travel to the powder-white sands of Clearwater Beach and get plenty of time to fish in the crystal-clear waters of the Gulf of Mexico. Your day begins from a convenient pick-up point in Orlando. You will be whisked away to enjoy a relaxing lunch (if option selected) in Clearwater Beach, before your 4-hour fishing adventure begins. In the company of an experienced guide, the tour sails off the coast of West Central Florida, known for its productive reef and abundant marine life. You will be provided with all the necessary fishing equipment, including a fishing licence. Expect to catch a variety of fish, and keep anything that follows the designated length and weight regulations. You will sail approximately 10 miles out in to the Gulf of Mexico and, depending on the season, your deep-sea fishing excursion may reward you with grouper and snapper. Remember to bring your camera so you can snap souvenir snapshots of your hard work. The tour then cruises back to the dock, where you will get the chance to clean the fish before the return journey to Orlando at a convenient drop-off point. Clearwater Beach is among America’s most beautiful beach locations and was named one of the best by Dr. Beach in 2008. On this exciting voyage out to the ocean you will soon see why.

From Orlando: Day Trip to Clearwater with Sea Screamer Ride

2. From Orlando: Day Trip to Clearwater with Sea Screamer Ride

Enjoy a full day of fun as we take you to Florida’s Gulf Coast for an exhilarating ride aboard the Sea Screamer and the chance to see dolphins at play. Dolphins regularly follow the Sea Screamer and can be seen jumping in the waves and playing in the wake the boat creates as it speeds through the waters of the Gulf of Mexico. You’ll want to hold onto your hat on board the Sea Screamer! The 72-foot long speedboat is the fastest in the world, featuring dual twin-turbocharged engines that will take you on a 1-hour ride you’re not likely to forget. Although we’ll travel at speeds up to 35 miles per hour, you’ll find the experience both comfortable and safe. The safety and comfort of our guests are our top priority. The Sea Screamer is Coast Guard-licensed and equipped with all the necessary safety features. Once you’re on board you’ll find comfortable bucket seats, restrooms and refreshments available. In addition to the excitement of the Sea Screamer ride, you’ll have plenty of time to relax on a white sand beach and to swim or play in the waters of the Gulf of Mexico. We also provide a picnic lunch for your enjoyment. At the end of our day’s excursion, we will return to the Orlando area and drop you off at the location you chose.

What people are saying about Clearwater

Clearwater Beach is worth a visit !!

The idea of this excursion is really nice - unfortunately the arrival due to collective transfers and procedures has taken a lot of time away and the tour guide was not so great. In the traffic jam on the way back, he was busy listening to his favorite music on the cell phone. It does not matter if the guests who were traveling with them would rather have their peace and quiet. I found that very inappropriate.

Had a great time fishing. The boat crew were friendly and helpful. Rode through storm on way back and captain was great. Entire family enjoyed. When do next time will not take the charter back and forth from Orlando. Will just travel their ourselves. Charter pick up was at a really busy area and had to pay to park.

Beautiful place, awesome experience, we booked with lunch and it was delicious , highly recommend this trip.

Is day trip where you have time to view clearwater. Fishing was only from 2.00 pm after hours of sailing.
