Full description

Meet your personal "Take-Off Manager" on arrival, and after a safety briefing you're ready for launch! Once securely clipped in, take a few light steps and within a moment you're flying! With an expert pilot behind you, relax and enjoy the stunning views. Tandem paragliding gives you an amazing sense of freedom. Once in the air most people are surprised at how relaxed they feel. You’ll sit comfortably upright like on your sofa at home, and you won’t feel like you’re sinking or falling at all. Savor the moment in the world of the eagles as you glide through the air at around 40 km/hr. In optimal weather conditions take the opportunity to fly the paraglider yourself! Your instructor will place his hands above yours to show you how to steer. It really is quite simple and utterly exhilarating. This, like the aerobatics before landing, is completely optional of course!

Great experience, too expensive for the short duration

Paragliding is a great idea to see Cape Town from above. The view is great and it is an impressive experience. Due to the weather my flight was canceled 45min before and one more time when I was already at Signal Hill. If possible, you should not fly on the last Cape Town day, but plan for buffers. Safety first! For the third attempt I got an appointment in the morning at short notice. Paperwork and instruction worked very professionally, I looked after myself well and felt safe. You can tell the experience and passion of the whole team! I found the communication with the team to be positive, with WhatsApp we easily made a new appointment. After I was there, the manager brought me back to town, which was really nice. Negative, I found the short duration. From arrival to say goodbye passed only about 20min. I think that's definitely too short for the price, especially as the weather was perfect. Pity!

Great experience!

Really a great experience if you are aware that the flight itself actually only takes about 10 minutes. You fly from Signal Hill over the city (and a little bit of sea) and land at the sea. The boys were all very nice and a lot of value is placed on safety. We can definitely recommend it and would do it again.

Parapax is the earliest established Paragliding Company here in Cape Town. Cool staff, really secure and a wonderful experience to fly with them. Would love to do it more often. So recommending totally for anyone to do this, as the view and the feeling is incredible. Also if you like you can control the Paraglide by your own, for sure instructed
